This is the first in a series of posters that I designed for the independent movie The Eve. This poster plays homage to the classic horror movie Poltergeist.

The Eve is an indie horror/thriller feature that brings four 20-somethings together as they head to Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate New Year’s and mend broken bridges. When they realize they are at the center of something gone horribly wrong, they must keep their wits about them if they will survive the night.

This is a photo manipulation of Babe Ruth.

I used three photos to design the photo.  The main photo was an old black and white photo of Babe Ruth.  Next I found a picture of a NY Mets hat and changed the logo on Babe’s hat.  Next I found a picture of Nolan Ryan when he played for the Mets, he wore number 31.  I deleted the one in 31 because Babe Ruth wore number 3.  I edited the Mets so it fits the shape of Babe’s body.

Then I made the entire image in a old sepia tone with grain.
